How To Get White Teeth Using Natural Home Remedies

Having the perfect hair, makeup, clothes and right accessories on can all be a good thing but then flashing bad teeth can ruin all of the good looks so we all aim for white teeth. There are quite a number of things that cause yellow or stained teeth but whatever reason it may be, there are remedies for stained teeth and hence why we are talking about whitening the teeth using natural home remedies.

Baking Soda and Lemon Juice Paste

Sodium bicarbonate is mildly abrasive; gently scrubbing away surface stains to return teeth to a whiter shade. Mix teaspoons of baking soda with fresh lemon juice or water and apply on your toothbrush. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes.

Coconut Oil Rinse
Rinsing your mouth with coconut oil may  not be the most pleasant feeling in the world but its not that bad as well. The lauric acid in coconut oil rids the teeth of bacteria found in plaque that can make them yellow. Before brushing in the morning scoop out a tablespoon or a little less of coconut oil.  Swish the oil around your teeth for 10-15 minutes, then spit it out, rinse with water, and brush your teeth.

Home Whitening Strips
Tooth-whitening strips are very thin, virtually invisible, and are coated with a peroxide-based whitening gel which helps you to get rid of tooth stains.

Don’t Forget Daily Maintenance

One simple strategy can help maintain white teeth: brush. Brush at least twice and floss at least once daily. Even better, brush after every meal and snack. Brushing helps prevent stains and yellow teeth, especially at the gum line.

Things To Avoid
* Smoking

* Food that causes teeth stains like coffee and other beverages
